Burbank Airport Lifts 11 Year Filming Ban

By: Madeleine Zavala | April 16, 2012

Burbank Bob Hope Airport (BUR) is pleased to offer its location facilities to your production company for the first time in eleven years! Forced to shut down all filming after 9/11 due to security reasons, Burbank Bob Hope Airport is open again with a dedicated office to help cut through any red tape and allow productions more efficient access to the property. Available for production is the entire property from runways to terminals, parking lots to hangars.

Conveniently located within the 30-mile studio zone, BUR is a prime location with a film friendly environment to cater to your filming needs. BUR has many usable sites available for filming 24 hours a day. Airport terminals, lobbies, unoccupied hangars, open tarmac, aircraft parking areas, airline ticket counters, baggage claim areas, wide open paved and unpaved lots, and curbside check-in await filmmakers.

We can accommodate a wide variety of productions, including: Feature Films, Television Shows, Commercials, Videos, Documentaries, Still Photo Shoots, and Events.
